This Musical Connections program delves into the legendary video game compositions of Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) and Koji Kondo (The Legend of Zelda) to understand how their compositional techniques and creativity impact our experience of the game. Education Director Terry Wolkowicz and CEO Dave Prentiss will use animated music graph visualizations, recorded music, and piano to explore and explain the creativity and compositional elements of the music. Join us as we uncover the musical inspirations that bring these epic games to life!
The program is one hour. All ages welcome (and tell your friends). Light refreshments will be served. Drop-ins are welcome but if you know you will be attending please RSVP here so we can get a headcount for refreshments.
